Easy Access

Simple by design

Researchers can create a Lab in minutes and let everything else attach over time: a dataset to share confidentially, an asset to tokenize, a funding round, or a path to equity for their community.

Access and legitimacy at our core

We believe starting a project should be easy, and that building with collaborators should not jeopardise your pathway to a patent.

No Financial or Technical Barrier to Entry

Log in with an email address, X account, or crypto wallet, whichever is easiest. Sign up with email and Molecule covers the cost of the first Lab. No crypto experience is required to take part in Labs.

A Legal Track Record

When a Lab is created, an intellectual property assignment agreement is created alongside it and stored in the data room automatically. This agreement ensures that all IP captured within the Lab belongs to the owner of the Lab.

What do I need to create my first Lab?

All you need is an image, title and description.

From there, you can add files, view your public project page, get an analysis of your project information and more.

From data to ownership in one pipeline

Once your Lab exists, it carries the project through every stage of commercializing your science.

01
Capture the research

Upload data into an encrypted data room and bring in collaborators, each with the right level of access, so the work stays confidential while the team moves it forward.

02
Tokenize intellectual property

Tokenize research via the Molecule Protocol, turning research that was hard to value into something a community can fund and hold.

03
Raise funding and report progress

Open funding through tokens, while the public project page and activity feed connect the work and its data to the people backing it.

04
Turn the community into owners

When the time is right, the Coin-to-Company model gives locked token holders a compliant path to real equity in the company behind the science.
