A diligent track record
Every Lab keeps a private workspace for its team and a public project page for everyone else, built from the same uploads and kept in sync automatically.
Building a record worth showing
Private file management tools work against what funders want to see, a clear and accurate record of activity and progress.
With Molecule Labs, a single file upload lives inside a confidential workspace, encrypted before it reaches Molecule's servers, and the same file activity carries through to the project page as a timestamped record, visible to funders without exposing anything the scientific team wants to keep private.

One upload, with a dual purpose

Four roles decide what each user can see
Developing a biotech asset takes a team. Our Role-Based access system makes sure a researcher can decide who can see, and contribute to their project.
Owner
Full control over the lab. Uploads and removes files, sets every access rule, decides what is shared publicly, and manages who else can take part.
Contributor
Works inside the data room day to day. Uploads new files, posts updates, and reads private material, without controlling the project's overall access settings.
Viewer
View-only access to confidential files - a funder running due diligence on a data room, for example. They can see more than the general public, but have no control over the Lab.
Public
Able to see the public project page and public files, but no more.
