How can I prove a file hasn't changed since a given date?
When a file is uploaded, Molecule records its content hash, a fingerprint computed from the file's contents, together with the upload time. If the contents change, so does the fingerprint, so anyone with a copy can check whether it matches what was recorded on that date.
