Project Description

The eDMT token is a pioneering Commons IPT, representing shared ownership and governance over multiple lines of R&D into how the brain regulates its own DMT. For science, this means coordinated funding across diverse approaches rather than isolated bets, accelerating discovery while keeping knowledge in a community-governed commons. For eDMT token holders, it means participation in one of neuroscience’s most intriguing frontiers. The first funded project, with Noonautics and the University of Florida, seeks to isolate a forgotten peptide “off switch” of DMT biosynthesis. Endogenous DMT. Other projects in the pipeline study non-pharmacological triggers such as darkness, freediving, and breathwork, with the goal of yielding actionable protocols and products for safe and meaningful access to our own endogenous psychedelic system.
